Datel's Max Media Dock is a Compact Flash card adapter that comes packaged with the MaxMediaLauncher. Its two most interesting features are its integrated USB port (which can only be used to connect the Dock to the computer to put files onto the CF card), and the fact that it does not appear to work with DSlinux fully, although some combinations of CF cards and builds (specifically the build downloadable from here - http://home.comcast.net/~swbfii/DSLinux-MMD.zip ) progress to the login screen, only to have the 'root' and 'uClinux' username and passwords not work/loop back to the login screen. This is an ongoing problem that is of yet unsolved.

This is also one of the only NDS CF adapters that can easily be found outside of the Internet, in stores like Wal-Mart and Target. Because of this, it might be useful to contact Datel about DSlinux not working on their Media Dock. Attempts to contact them has been unsuccessful thus far, but if enough people contact them, they might actually do something about the problem.

(Edit 7/2/07) It appears as though DSLinux, using the GBAMP build, loads and allows login, use of quite a few features(however not either of the web-browsers, for whatever reason), giving a lot of errors. However native booting directly from the MMD file browser is not at all supported, using DSChannels booting can be accomplished. Still, contacting Datel and explaining that their device doesn't run DSLinux(along with a lot of hb apps..) they might, possibly, do something about it. Using the DLDI version and patching with MMCF, using native method or DSC's booting method, does not work, under DSC it throws the "do_translation_fault? : arch/arm/mm/fault.c 374" error.(Also note: using MMD version 1.21)
