The Max Media Launcher (also known as the Max Media Player) is a NoPass device sold by Datel. It is often packaged with the MaxMediaDock, a Compact Flash card reader, for running homebrew and other media, such as MP3's and video.
It should be noted that, despite the Max Media Player being useful as a NoPass device, the Media Dock does <b>not</b> appear to work correctly with DSlinux. There has been unconfirmed success with previous versions of the Media Dock's firmware, but it seems no one has had success since at least June of 2006 - whether the previous 'working' firmware was used or not.
