General Overview
NoPass devices are cards inserted into the DS- Slot that look exactly like official DS cards. These cards use official card encryption to boot code that points to a Slot-2 (GBA-Slot) device. Since they use official card encryption, they are not technically Passthrough devices.
Compatibility
NoPass devices are compatible with all DS versions.
They can also be used to run homebrew from the GBAMP on newer-firmware version DS's. Since they are not PassMe devices, they do not require a .sav in the SRAM of the device you are trying to boot code from. Since the GBAMP lacks this, it has been impossible to run homebrew with this device on newer-firmware version DS's until the NoPass came out.
